I am the Director of the Center for Judaic and Holocaust Studies and Clayman Assistant Professor of Judaic and Holocaust Studies in the Department of History at Youngstown State University.
I have held positions a PennState, Charles University, the Center for Antisemitism Research at the Technical University in Berlin, NYU in Prague, and CET Academic Programs.
In August 2014, I defended my dissertation “Re-Negotiating Czechoslovakia. The State and the Jews in Communist Central Europe: The Czech Lands, 1945-1990.” I hold a Ph.D. in history from Washington University in St. Louis.
